Each price includes the donor drive, the new drive your data comes back on, and shipping. The cleanroom diagnosis is free and you pay nothing until you approve the price. Shipping to our lab is free either way. If you decide not to proceed, you can collect your drive from our London lab at no cost, send your own courier, or we will quote UPS Express return shipping, which is paid by you (Policy 15).

What not to do, starting now

  • Do not power it on again. Every spin-up of a failing drive does more damage.
  • Do not put it in the freezer. That myth has cost people their data.
  • Do not open it. One dust particle on an open platter ends the recovery.
  • Do not run recovery software on a failing drive. It writes to the disk you are trying to save.
  • Do not follow a YouTube fix, and do not let a computer shop try first. A failed attempt makes our job harder and usually voids the guarantee.
